Department Profile
The Dental Department of the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center is located on the second floor of the Out- Patient Department in Brgy. 96 Bagacay, Tacloban City. It has four dental operatories which are individually equipped with an ultrasonic scaler, light cure system, high speed, and low-speed handpieces. All operational to cater to patient’s dental needs.
The Dental Department is headed by a Dentist V and complemented by two Dentist III, two Dentist II, two Dental Aide and one Dental Clerk. All rendering efficient and quality dental health care.
Dental department render services daily, except holidays, and caters to patients coming from region VIII on a first come first served basis. It serves as outreach programs in coordination with the Public Health Department and answers to Interdepartmental and Interagency referrals as the need arise.

The dental unit of Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center as the center of excellence will promote adequate dental health care by rendering high-quality dental services.
Mission
To render the delivery of comprehensive, effective, efficient and resilient dental health care service to the less fortunate constituents through an empowered, compassionate and highly skilled dental personnel engaging in outreach activities and responding to referrals being the end-referral hospital of Region VIII.
